Born in Aotearoa and based in Eora, DEVAURA is a rising star in the Australian music scene, known for her ethereal vocals and innovative soundscapes. She burst onto the scene in 2023, captivating audiences with powerful performances and charismatic lyricism.
A versatile artist with a background in both singing and rapping, DEVAURA has quickly gained recognition for her unique style and authentic storytelling. Her accolades include being named a ‘Triple J Unearthed 2024 Draft Pick,’ winning two 2024 FBi SMAC Awards for ‘Best Live Act’ and ‘Next Big Thing,’ and receiving the 2024 Acclaim Magazine x PUMA Wildcard Award. She also delivered standout performances at the 2024 BIGSOUND music showcase.

I met Devaura when she was an NDIS carer helping our family. She has an amazing heart for people. We had a short time of personal mini concerts as she sang in our kitchen. Her voice and laugh were so loud that they interrupted my Zoom meetings in the best possible way. Shortly after, she released songs that became her first EP “Learning in Public”.
Her live performances are extraordinarily energetic and powerful; she gives everything on stage and leaves nothing left afterwards.
