Who is Rob Hogarth?

I am an independent photographer based in Sydney, constantly looking for interesting photography subjects. Whether that’s music, protests, people or nature. I follow the energy I find.

This has taken me from photographing musicians busking in the streets to concert photography. From people to portraits to protests. From hallowed congregation to running from riot police.

Along the way, I have met amazing people, been a part of crazy events and captured some unique moments.

If you ask me, I will make my best effort to come along. If you offer to pay me, I’ll definitely be there.

Tech Specs

For those interested in these kinds of thing, I currently shoot on Nikon gear.

My main body is a Nikon D800; previously, it was a D700.

I will occasionally shoot with a Nikon F6 on Kodak Ultramax or Porta for colour and Ilford HP5 for black and white.

I edit all my photos in Adobe Lightroom

I currently have 1 SD card.
